Lamentations 3 : 22-26
22. It is of the LORD'S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not.
23. They are new every morning; great is thy faithfulness
24. The LORD is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in him.
25. The LORD is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him.
26. It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the LORD.
I am so thankful this morning for God's mercy and grace. If it weren't for His mercy and grace we would be so lost. And He doesn't just offer mercy one time, but vs 23 says His mercies are new every morning. Every morning when we wake up, there is new mercy! And the word also says His grace is sufficient. (find this vs)
Whatever we face, in any situation, His grace is sufficient. His grace is enough!
The Lord is our portion. We don't need anything else. The Lord will always be enough. I have a saying that God is the only one who can fill you up, and yet you still want Him
more and more!
The Lord is good unto them that wait upon Him. All we have to do is wait on God. He has been there for us before, He's still there. We know that as children of God, He is going to be good to us! If He has brought us through a trial before, He's going to bring us through again. Sometimes it's hard to "wait" on the Lord, but in Isaiah it says, Those that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength, they shall mount up with wings as eagles, they shall run and not grow weary, they shall walk and not faint - and the song says, teach me Lord, teach me Lord to wait.
Do you ever just stop and think about God and His mercy and grace? How much He loves us? You know, we really can't even begin to fathom it. We were so unworthy and full of sin, and yet He loves us so much, He gave His only son, and Jesus loves us so much He gave His life, so that we might live. Thank you Jesus!
In whatever you are facing today, I want you to just begin to call on the name of Jesus. Tell Him that He is your portion, that you believe in Him, His grace and mercy. That you know He's good to you, and that you are not giving up, that you are going to wait on Him for the answer, you're going to wait on Him for the Victory. Tell Him you know He is your way maker, problem solver, soul saver, that He is the blesser, the miralce worker and soon coming king.
Step out of your comfort zone, stop thinking about the situation, the problem you are in and all the negative, and start claiming who you are God. Start claiming who Jesus is. I promise you, you will begin to feel better. Just by starting to praise Him, even though you don't feel like it, because giving God praise, is more than just a feeling, it's more than emotion, you will begin to feel better.
I am a child of God
I am the head and not the tail
I am confident
I am more than an overcomer
I am Victorious
I am Healed
*now you take it from here*
~Here's a saying they do at a church we go to sometimes~
*I am a child of God, every promise in His word is mine,
I pray, I believe, and I shall recieve in Jesus name! *
And here's what God gave me for this year way back the end of december
*Blessin's pouring out of Heaven in 2011* - halleluijah, praise the Lord!!!!!

Super Woman???
Good morning beautifuls!
Have you ever felt like you had to be Super Woman? Super wife, super mom, super daughter, super co worker, super friend?
Do you get angry with yourself when you don't live up to other's expectations? Or when no matter how hard you've tried, you just can't do it ALL, or please everybody!!!! Thank God, that He is the only true one we have to please! That as long as we do His will, that's all that matters.
In this crazy thing we call life, it seems like we as women have to be SUPER everything! We don't like to tell people no, we don't want to hurt anyone's feelings, so therefore we stretch ourselves, spread ourselves thin.
Let's say we have a job: errands for the boss, dead lines, office events, etc, etc, etc
Kids: school activities, ball games, recitals, parent/teacher meetings, etc etc
Husbands: spending time with them...maybe sometimes putting spending one on one time with them off for another day and then it never gets done......maybe their busy
Household things: laundry, cooking meals, cleaning house.....
Friends: birthday parties, cook outs, maybe a dr's appt with them, listening to their problems, etc
Daughter: taking our parents/parent to their dr appt, making sure they have what they need, maybe cleaning the house for them, cooking a meal for them, maybe they live with you.
All of this is fine, we are suppose to be caring, compassionate, but it is ok to say no sometimes.
Let's face it, we ARE busy women! Even if you don't have a job out of the home, you are still busy, maybe you homeschool your kids, your even busier. Sometimes though we neglect what's really important because we didn't say no to something that wasn't all that important. We should always make time for our kids, and our husbands. One on one time with our husband's however we can get it, is so important. We can't let the closeness die, or the bond we have with eachother die. It's important to spend time with our kid's.
Is everything we do really really important, or do we do some things to keep from hurting other's feelings? How do we measure it out?
Let's say you haven't had one on one time with your husband and he wants to spend a quiet night at home with you, and then a friend invites you over to grill some burgers and visit. What do you do? Do you put off spending time with just you and your husband and go, or do you say, you know, i think we'll have to pass this time...that sounds great, but i think we're just going to spend a quiet night at home just me and the hubby. can we reschedual?
If they don't understand, their not much of a friend.
Being a woman of God, a christian does not mean we have to spead ourselves thin. God does not expect us to stress out and worry over how we're going to get everything done. It's ok to tell people no sometimes. God wants us to be happy, and how can we be happy if we're spread out, stressed out and worried all the time?
Let's be honest, we all say yes sometimes when we want so bad to say no. We have a lot on our plate, sometimes we feel like there's not enough hours in the day. Yes we all want to help others and make them happy, but we can't please everybody all the time. It's impossible.
The bible says come unto me and I will give you rest. Lay your burdans at my feet.
When we get overwhelmed from all these things, we can take it to God. You may be saying, sis patti you just dont' understand my situation. I may not know everything you're going through, but God does. I don't know everything you face, but God does! He is there for You, He cares for You, and He can help you with the strength you need, the boldness you need. HE LOVES YOU!!!!
God knows that we can't be Super women. We do the best we can, and we have to have God to help us! But don't feel bad! Do our best, love our families, pray for them and let God do the rest!!!

Hello Beautiful ladies!
Can you believe it's already June?! This year is half way over already...time goes by so fast.
Past time to get busy for the Lord!!
I love thee Lord and I lift my voice to worship you - oh my soul rejoices - take joy my king in what you here, let it be a sweet sweet sound in your ear.
~love that song~
I want God to find favor in me. I want Him to take joy when I worship Him. I want to be ever atuned to Him and what He has to say to me. I believe now is a time when we need to have our hearts prepared, when we need to be ever listening for that still small voice. We need to be ready, that when God says go, we go, when God says do, we do! Whatever it may be, wherever it may be, God will provide, God will take care of us. He will never take us to mountain without helping us climb it, we will never face a trial, that He won't see us through. Praise God!!
He is faithful.
~God almighty, Lord of Glory, You have called me friend~
Thank Him that He is closer than a brother, mother, sister, father, even closer than a friend!!!!
GOD IS MY EVERYTHING!!!!!!
I want to be found doing something for God. There are things that I need to do more, to be a better woman of God. We are never good enough on our own, but through God! Thank God that He sees what we Can Be!!!!!
I believe it's time to evaluate our walk and relationship with God! Time to look in the mirror, to ask God to examine our hearts, and remove anything that shouldn't be there, and replace it with things of Him!
Dear God,
I ask you right now, to look inside my heart. Lord I ask that you remove anything there that doesn't need to be there. Create in my a clean heart God, and make me more like you...None of me, all of You!! I know I am not perfect, but I want to strive to be the woman of God, the wife and the mother that you have called me to be. Help me stay atuned to You and sensitive to Your spirit. My footsteps are ordered by you, keep me in Your will! Lord, for all those ladies out there who may read this, whatever situation their going through, whatever the age, I ask that You would reveal Your mighty power to them, open up their hearts to You. Love them Lord in a way that only you can. Help us to always find time, make time for You! You are Everything!!!!
Lord, help the ladies to be sensitive to you, not to be afraid to let you use them in whatever way You see fit. We love you Lord, In your sweet precious name, Aman!

Psalms 5: 1-3
Psalms 5:1-3
vs 1. GIVE ear to my words, O LORD, consider my meditation.
vs 2. Hearken unto the voice of my cry, my King, and my God: for unto thee will I pray.
vs 3. My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O LORD; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up.
God, we thank you that when we cry out to you, you hear us. That even though at times it seems like You don't hear us, You always do!
When we truly cry unto the Lord, and pour our hearts out to Him, He will hear us! The next step after pouring our hearts out, crying out to Him, praying, is LISTENING to what HE has to say to us. So many times we miss out on what He has to say to us, because we get in such a hurry. We barley make time to pray, let alone make time to listen for His still small voice.
Also, crying out to God, doesn't just have to be when we are in times of distress, or burdened down, or going through trials. We can cry out to God to grow closer to Him, we cry out to God to help us be a better christian. We cry out to God to WORSHIP HIM!!!!!!
Sometimes, as I believe I have mentioned in previous studies, we may not have the words to say, but God understands our tears. He understands our hearts, He understands us!
I will direct my prayer to thee Lord, and I will look up. We have to look up to Jesus! We have to put our trust in Him.
~CHALLENGE~ * find the verse in the bible that mentions, I look unto the Hills from whence cometh my help*
Lord, help me to always, have time for YOU!!!!!
There may be times when we feel alone, forgotten even, but we never are. God is always there!!! He never leave's us, but we do walk off and leave Him.
Friends and family may forsake you, but GOD NEVER WILL!!!!! For lo, I am with you always, even unto the ends of the world ~find this scripture~
Let's all take time after we pray, to LISTEN!!!!!!! and not just to listen, but to be obediant!!

Isaiah 1:2-5
I know it has been a long time since I have done a bible study and I pray that you can forgive me.
I want to start back with a verse that God laid on my heart and I didn't even know what it said until I opened my bible and read it. It's not about a woman, but something I believe is very important,of course the whole word of God is important.
Isaiah 1:2
Hear, O heavens, and give ear, O earth: for the LORD hath spoken, I have nourished and brought up children, and they have rebelled against me.
Vs 3. The ox knoweth his owner, and the ass his master's crib: but Israel doth not know, my people doth not consider.
vs 4. Ah sinful nation, a people laden with iniquity, a seed of evil doers, children that are corrupters: they have forsaken the LORD, they have provoked the Holy One of Israel unto anger, they are ogne away backward.
vs 5. Why should ye be stricken any more? ye will revolt more and more: the whole head is sick, and the whole heart faint.
I believe that now more than ever, God is calling His children back to Him. He is calling His children out, to stand and put on the whole armour of God and STAND!! Just like when we raise our children and they get to the age that they begin to rebel, we rebel against God. We don't stop and think about it that way, but that is exactly what we do. When we don't listen to God and obey Him we are rebelling against Him. Verse 3 talks about an ox knowing his owner and an ass knowing where he belongs, but Israel does not know, do not consider.
I believe that sometimes no matter how long we have been saved, we forget who we are in God. We forget about the power that belongs to us in Christ Jesus and this is when satan begins to walk all over us.
America as we know has turned her back on God. America has forgotten what this nation was founded on. Vs 5 says the whole head is sick. When the head is sick, the body is sick. If the "Head" of our church's, the pastor's, assistant pastors, teachers, deacons, etc, would begin to line up with the word of God, we would begin to see our church's in better shape.
We are in the last days and it is no time to be playing around. It is time to get serious. It's time to start walking the path that God has laid out for us. We need to stop compromising! Vs 4 talks about a sinful nation. America is a sinful nation, and it's time to get back to God!! They have forsaken God, forsaken Jesus the very one who gave up His life and rose again so that we might live!
God, help me to remain ever faithful to you and the call you have on my life. May I be a light to others in darkness. May I have compassion!
I just believe that it's time for the children of God to RISE UP and declare Jesus is Lord! We have VICTORY!!! WE WIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!
May you all be blessed and remain faithful to God. May He use you, lead you and direct you. May your life be a light to others.

Harvest Time
Part of the song from Crabb Family
See the grain, yellow in the fields, setting sun shines down to reveal, the night's closing in - and it's harvest time....
Cant' you hear the many voices crying, no hope, no God, their dying in sin
Can't afford to stop our preaching, on the other hand, we can't stop singing for them
We must bring them in.....
We have to get busy. The fields are riped for the harvesting. and no I'm not talking physically...lol
So we ask ourselves, what can we do? We Witness!!! What if I'm shy? Ask God to give you the courage to witness to someone about Jesus! It's so important!!! Time is running out!!
What if they don't listen? It's so very sad when they dont, but you did your part.
Jesus knew there would still be some who did not accept Him, even after He gave His life, but He did it anyway!!
I know it seems I say this a lot, but CHRISTIANS, time is running out, and we have a lost and dying world that needs JESUS!!!!!!
One of the things that A Heart Adorned Women's Minsitry is about, is bringing women together, teaching, learning, loving, growing, understanding. Witnessing! Beginning to grow into what God wants us to be!
I may not can get on a one on one with you, but through this, I hope we can become friends and you know that I'm here...I may not even know you personally but I pray for you, where ever you are, whatever you're going through, and I hope that you pray for me.
Maybe someday if God allows I can get a group together at least locally.
If there are any of you in the southeastern oklahoma area, I will be holding a women's conference in Coalgate Ok, May 20th - 21st, at Gospel Lighthouse PCG and for those i guess around dallas, corsicana, and around east texas, i will be holding one at Church on the Rock in Rice Tx, June 17th - 18th..message me at smithrevivals@yahoo.com
Are you promoting yourself? No. I'm inviting those who may not be on my fb, but who are reading these blog's.....this ministry, these women's conference's are not about me, but all about God!!! He opens the doors, He makes the way, He is the soul saver, life giver, deliever, healer, filler...etc...I am just His vessle!
Let's begin to pray for God to help us be, who He has called us to be. Let's begin to pray for courage to get out there and witness to people. Time is short, and Jesus is coming soon....
Let's pray for our leaders, and let's pray that AMERICA will turn back to GOD!!!!
Be blessed & Be encouraged ~God can use you~

Blessed be the Name of the Lord
Hello Pretty Ladies!
Pray you all have a blessed & happy mother's day. I did. Sarah picked me flowers, and her and my wonderful hubby took me out to eat chinese food after church, and then I got to come home and relax. I was very blessed.
Today I want to talk about the Lord being our strong tower and our refuge.
*Blessed be the name of the Lord, blessed be the name of the Lord, blessed be the name of the Lord, most high.
The name of the Lord, is a strong tower, which the righteous run in to, and are saved.
Thank God that He is our strong tower, He is our refuge. That we are sheltered in His arms.
Our lives can get hectic, we can go through so many trials, but I'm glad to know that when the storms of life come, that Jesus is my hiding place, my refuge! A strong tower, where we can go and get strength!
We have a place that we can go when we begin to feel overwhelmed, when the burdans get to hard, when the storms are raging. We can be safe in Jesus! We know that He is going to guide us, protect us. Jesus is that Lighthouse, shining the light for us! Praise Him!!!!
Blessed be the Lord!
There's another song I like that says
Blessed be your name, when the sun's shining down on me
when the world's all as it should be- blessed be your name
Blessed be your name on the road marked with suffering
those their pain in the offering
blessed be your name
Every blessing you pour out, I'll turn back to praise
when the darkness closes in - still I"m gonna say
Blessed be the name of the Lord- Blessed be your name Jesus
Blessed be the name of the Lord - Blessed be your Holy Name
No matte what is going on around us, we can still say Blessed be the name of the Lord!!
I'm pressed but not crushed
persecuted but not abandoned
struck down, but not destroyed
I'm blessed beyond the curse,
for His promise will endure
And His joy will be my strength
though sorrow may last for the night, His joy come's in the morning
I'm trading my sorrow, I'm trading my shame
I'm laying it down for the joy of the Lord
I'm trading my sickness, I'm trading my pain
I'm laying them down, for the joy of the Lord
saying Yes Lord, yes Lord, Yes Yes Lord
Yes Lord, yes Lord, Yes yes Lord
Yes Lord, yes Lord, Yes Yes Lord, Aman
I know I'm stuck on songs today....sorry, but it's good to have a song in your heart.
Ok, you ladies tell me, when youre feeling down or discouraged, what's your favorite song?

Happy Mother's Day
In Honor of Mother's Day!!!!!!
For all of you special Mom's out there, whether you have children of your own, or your like a mom to that special child. May you have a blessed & happy Mother's Day!!!
I remember growing up, I was never emberassed to kiss my mom in front of my friends. I was never ashamed of either of my parents. My mom was and is my best friend. I thank God that when I became an adult, I begin to appreciate her even more, and as I became a mother, understood her even more. I am so thankful that God chose to make her My Mom!!
She has been there for me through thick and thin. She has been a shining example to me. She has raised me to love God and honor Him! She has prayed for me and continues to do so.
Mom, I love you with all my heart, and I will never forget how you have prayed for me, loved me, taught me, disclipined me, brought me up in church, and everything you have ever done for me. May God bless you greatly!!!!!! I LOVE YOU & CHERISH YOU ALWAYS!!!
I would like to look at two different mother's in the bible. Mary the mother of Jesus, and Hannah, the mother of Samuel. We have studied both of these women, but in honor of mother's day, I want to look at them as mother's. Mary the mother of Jesus, was young when the angel came and told her she would carry and give birth to a child. I'm sure as Jesus was born, Mary gazed on him in love and adoration. Not only was he a precious baby, but very special. I'm sure her love for him only grew more each day as our's have done with our children. Watching him grow, teaching him, loving him, and then the ultimate trial. Loving her son and watching him give his life for us, all sinners so that we would have a chance. I'm sure as she watched them beat her son, mock him, ridicule him, her heart broke into a million pieces. I'm sure she probably wanted to lash out at them, to take his place, but she knew God's plan, she knew it had to be Jesus that died. But you see, she had the promise, that he would not stay dead, but rise again, as we have the promise that our loved ones are not 'dead', but live with Jesus and we will meet them again someday, and what a glorious day that will be, because not only will we see our loved ones, but we will be with the king of Kings and Lord of Lord's.
As mother's, we would gladly take our children's place when their sick, or hurting. We would lay down our lives for our children because we love them so much. Jesus love's us even more. He laid down His life, and then rose again, because He loves us! Unworthy us, but He love us anyway.
Hannah, prayed for a child and God blessed her with Samuel. She promised God that when He gave her Samuel, she would give him back to God. When Samuel became old enough, Hannah loved him so much, she knew the most important thing was for him to be in God's will. So she took him to Eli so he could teach him God's ways. We all know that Samuel heard God call him, and thought that it was Eli, going to Eli three times, Eli finally telling him to answer Here I am.
Some may say that Hannah didn't care for Samuel or didnt' love him and that's why she took him to Eli. But it was because Hannah loved him that she took him to Eli. Hannah loved Samuel so much that she wanted God to use him. She wanted Samuel to be in a place where he would obey God and hear God speak to Him. Because of Hannah's sacrafice, God blessed her with more children, not to replace Samuel, no child can be replaced, but more children to love.
Do we love our children enough to put aside our "plans" for them and pray God's will in their lives? Are we praying a hedge of protection around them?
I pray that I am being the mother God expects me to be.
I want to hear from you. Tell me about your Mom's.
The challenge: if you noticed I didn't tell where either of those stories were at in the bible, so you find them and tell me :)
And once again to all of you beautiful Mother's out there, whether it's by your own blood, or being a "mom" to that special child - MAY YOU HAVE A BLESSED & HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!

18th Lesson: Be still and know that I am God - Psalms 46:10
Ok, so this lesson may not be WOW, but it's what God was giving me, so that makes it WOW!
What a crazy, hectic, busy world we live in.
Husband
Kids
Job
Household chores
Just to name a few.....In our business, are we taking time for God? We give Him 10 percent of our tithes, are we giving Him our time too? We desperatly need to.
I know as women, we get so busy. We get tired from everything we've done during the day.
Working mom's, stay at home mom's (that is still a job), we're all BUSY!!
Women, have a tendecy to balance a million things at one time. We think that we have to be super mom, and maybe, some of us are....Sometimes, we overload ourselves. There should never be anything that comes before our familis except of course God, and there definatley should never be anything that comes before God.
~Be Still and Know that I am God~
Are we taking quiet time with God each day? It doesn't matter if it's in the morning, before anyone else gets up, if it's at night before we go to bed, or both. It if's in the middle of the day when you have found a few quiet moments, which is rare, I know. It doesn't matter when we do it, as long as we do it.
In the midst of whatever storm we may be going through, we can be calm, we can have peace, we can be "still" knowing that He is God and He is going to see us through.
For some women, I would say it was hard for them to be still. Constantly on the run, going here, going there, doing this, doing that. I am constantly on the go, everyone knows that, but I still have to find my quiet time with God.
One of the most important parts of prayer, is being still and listening for God to give you the answer. Trusting that He is going to give you the answer.
There's a song that The Issacs came out with, and the chorus goes like this:
Stand still, and let God move,
standing still is hard to do,
and I dont' know the rest...find it on youtube...lol
The point is, yes it is hard to be still, it's hard sometimes to take our hand's off our situations, it's hard to give God the control because that means we're no longer in control. But it is sooooo much better, when we give it to God.
All things work together for the good of those who love God, who are the called according to His purpose. Romans 8:28
When the battle is raging, when you're nervous and upset....Be still and know that He is God!!!!!!!
Aren't you glad you Know He is God!!
I dont' think though, that this is talking about a physical stillness. It's spiritual. A calmness and stillness within.
A knowing that you know that He is God and nothing else matters.
So when you find yourselves getting busier, or you find yourself facing a storm, remember, BE STILL AND KNOW THAT I AM GOD!!
CHALLENGE: Find a woman in the bible who was still and waited on God, or who knew that He was God and would bring her through...are there any?

17th lesson - Make my house, a house of prayer!!
Hello Beautiful Ladies!! I'm so sorry it has been so long since I have done a study. I haven't been able to use my computer. I pray you are all being blessed.
Today I want to look at Prayer:
Matthew 21: 22 says
And all things whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, Believing, ye shall recieve.
Praise God. It doesn't say maybe recieve, but shall recieve, but we have to Believe.
I have a daily quotations on my desk and this was yesterday's.
Let my house be a house of prayer, a happy home, a haven where my every task is offered there in service, Lord, to Thee.
As women, we have so many things we must do. Some of work on a job, and then have things at home to do too. Some of us like myself, are "homemakers" which in itself is a job, we just don't recieve money for it...lol.
We wash clothes, we sweep and mop the floors, we make the beds, we cook, we do dishes, etc, etc. Sometimes we can grow to resent these things. The same thing over, and over. Some of us have no help, some of us do. My husband is good at helping, and I'm teaching my daughter to put up her things and keep her room nice. She's five, and she does a pretty good job. She doesn't like it, but she is learning.
I like the part that says, "where my every task is offered there in service, Lord, to Thee". How, do you ask, is cleaning our house being in service to the Lord?
Well, I look at it like this, without the grace and mercy of the Lord, we would have no clothes to wash, nor anything to wash them in, we would have no food to eat, let alone dishes to wash, or a sink to wash them in, we wouldn't have a house to clean if it wasn't for God. If you want God to bless you with more, we have to take care of what He gives us to start with.
The word of God says a cheerful heart doeth good like a medicine. No, it isn't always fun cleaning, and doing laundry. Scrubbing the comode does not rank on my top most fun things to do...lol. But what would happen if we prayed and sang praises to God while doing our chores? I bet they would get done a lot faster....ha ha..
It says Let my house be a house of prayer, a happy home, a haven. I want to have a happy home. Our home's should be the place where we come in and find a "haven". Our homes should be the place where we can relax, and enjoy spending times with our families. A place, where we can spend time with God in prayer and reading our word without anyone telling us we can't.
When I was a teen, my room was my haven. If I'd had a tough day at school, or work, or just wasn't in the best of moods, I would go to my room, turn on my praise music and just set in there and pray, think, or read.
Our homes, should be our haven, outside the church. We have husbands, and kids, but no matter what we have going on, we should find a quiet time to be with the Lord.
We should, as families, pray together. The family that prays together, stays together.
What our kids see us doing, they will mock. As they grow older, they may depart from what they were taught, but I can promise you, it's not going to depart from them, because one day when their out doing whatever, it's going to come to their mind. The bible says to train your child up in the way they should go and when they are old they will not depart from it. They will find their way back.
House of prayer. When you hear this, you probably think of a church. But your home can be a house of prayer. Your home, no matter what you're going through, or what you're families going through, can be happy. The devil is going to fight, and he is coming against families stronger than He ever has. We have to be rooted in the word of God, praying for one another, lifting each other up before the Lord, praying together, trusting in God.
Matthew 21:22
Jesus promies, All things, whatsoever you ask in prayer, Believing , ye shall recieve. The key is to believe! When God makes a promise, He keeps His promies!
Four steps of Prayer:
1. the act of praying
2. Believing
3. Accepting
4. Praising God for the answer
Say your prayers, believe, accept no matter what the answer is and then give God praise for the answer...praise Him in advance!

BEING A WOMAN...GODLY WOMAN!
Being A Woman!!!
Being A Godly Woman!!!
What does it mean to be a Godly Woman?
What does it mean to seek God with our whole hearts?
A woman. Hmm. We can be so simple, yet so complex. Only God understand us. Sometimes, we don't even understand ourselves, so thank God He does....lol.
We as women were created not to walk behind our man, in front of our man, but BESIDE our man!
For those who are not married, pray and seek the one God wants you to have. Because if they are not the one God has for you, you don't need them!
What does being a woman mean to you?
Sometimes, we as women have to go to battle for our family.
I know I have used this refrenece time and time again, but Proverbs chapter 31 is the best example of a Godly woman! That chapter tells us how to conduct ourselves in a Godly manner, how to be a good wife, and how to be a good mother.
What if we are not mothers? You may not have children of your own, but you may not even realize, that to someone, you are a mother figure. Giving birth doesn't make you a "mama".
Now, we all know that we women can be emotional...our poor husbands...lol.....When we begin to feel like an emotional wreck, we just go to God in prayer right then. He will help us get though it! He is the only one who understands us.
Being a woman is more than being a wife, or a mother.
Being a Godly woman is more than just being a Godly woman in church or in your ministry. It's being a Godly woman in every aspect of your life. Handleing things the way God would want us too. Being in His will. Putting Him first.
Being a Godly woman is about reaching out to other women, no matter their walk of life. Teaching them and guiding them in a Godly manner the way God would want us too. Not juding them. Loving them, showing them.
Some women out there didn't have a mother figure, and they dont' know how to be a woman.
For instance. If a young lady walks into your church, and let's say they have on shorts and a tank top, how do you react? What are the thoughts that go through your mind? Well Sis. Patti are you saying it's ok to dress like that? No. I'm not. I'm saying, what if they have never been to church before? What if they are lost? What if that is all they have? Help them find Jesus, and then let God do the convicting. The best example is taught sometimes not through words, but by actions.
STORY:
A young prostitute walked in the doors of the church and didn't even get to set down before the pastor walked back and told her that because of the way she was dressed, she would have to leave. The young woman left the church, and went to a secluded spot. A few hours later, the police came by the church with the woman's picture and ask the pastor if he had seen the woman. He said yes but that he had ask her to leave.
The police said well we found this note lying by her body.
The note read:
I tried the world and they didn't want me. I even tried God and He didn't want me.
What a sad, sad story. The blood of that young woman will be on that pastor's hands. Did it really matter if she wasn't dressed "appropiatly" when she was just trying to find God. The young woman left this world, thinking that God didn't want her because of the way she was dressed.
We do not have to convict people. GOD WILL!!!
I heard another pastor tell that story and it stuck with me. I myself, just like we all have, have been guilty of judging. The house of God should be respected and the Bible tells us we should offer our best, but when someone comes off the streets who have never been in church before and their just trying to find God, let them! And let GOD CONVICT!
Another mighty woman of God, Sis. Toby Hise from Eldorado Illinois, made this statement. "THE CHURCH AIN'T HEAVEN!" Bold statement? Yes it is. TRUTH? Yes it is. EVERYONE is suppose to be welcomed in the House of God.

A quick Note
Hello Ladies, pray you are all doing well and being blessed.
Today's lesson/ Sarah found in Genesis chapter 15 - 21
Sarah's name was Sarai before God changed it in chapter 17 vs 15. She bore no children and had an egyptian handmaid named Hagai. Since Sarah could not bare children she told Abraham to go into her handmaid. When Hagai concieved, she then despised Sarah. Abraham told Sarah to deal with her as she seen fit so she dealt hardly with her and Hagai left. When she was in wilderness, and angel of the Lord told her to go back.
In chapter 18, three men come and tell Sarah she will concieve. Sarah laughed. She was old...surly not now in her old age. When the men ask if Sarah laughed, she denied it.
In Gen chapter 21, God keeps His promise, Sarah concieves and bare's Issac.
Could you imagine being 90 years old and giving birth? That would have to be God! Of course, people in the bible day's lived to be a lot older. Still 90?
I'm sure though after years of waiting, and praying, when Sarah finally concieved and bore her child she was so happy and thrilled no matter how old she was....lol.
No matter her age, no matter the circumstance, God kept His promise!
No matter what you are going through, no matter how long you have been going through it, no matter the situation, when God makes a promise He keeps it! In His time!!
Sarah got tired of waiting though and told Abraham to go into Hagai. We can't give up no matter how long it may take. I know that at times, waiting and patiently waiting can get hard, but we have to keep trusting in God.
I want to know what you think about Sarah?
How do you think you would feel to be 90 and give birth?
How would you feel after praying for something for so long, your prayers were answered?

My, my, my. Sampson never should have told Delilah where his strength was at. Is it worth it to have the Lord depart from you, in order to make someone else happy?
Delilah made Sampson think that she cared for him. Told him if he really loved her then he would tell her when his strength was. She was paid to get him to reveal his heart.
We have to be so careful. There are some things in our "house" and I'm not talking about our physical house, that don't need to be told. There are things in our heart that only we and God need to know about and there are some things in our hearts that only God knows. God knows better than we do. When the wise men came and seen baby Jesus, and spoke words, the bible says Mary kept these things in her heart. We are not suppose to tell everything we know. There are things that should be kept in our hearts and when and if there is a time for them to be revealed, God will let us know. Delilah, was not God fearing. She tricked Sampson into telling her his heart.
Ladies, I don't believe I want to be like Delilah. I dont' want to be selfish and trick someone into saying what I want to hear, or doing what I want done. I don't want to sell out for money or any other reason. Sampson gave up his heart, and the Lord depareted from him, and after he done it, he wished he wouldnt' have. To me, you would think that after the three times that Delilah had tried what he had told her, that he would have known that she would shave his head.
That's just like satan. He will come at you and torture you, keep at you until he has made you weak and tired, and you give in. We can't do that. That's why we have to stay prayed up, read up, that's why we have to keep our armor on. Satan can come as shiny, pretty, even beautiful things, that's why we have to be aware. A soldier doesn't go out into an open battlefield not prepared. Neither should a soldier of God. "All that glitter's ain't Gold".
Kind of goes back to a previous lesson. Be prepared. We do not fight battles of flesh, but spiritual battles.
What do you think of the story of Sampson and Delilah. I'm not going to give the answers to the questions, some of you haven't answered yet, so I will wait on you and give the answers tomorrow. Look forward to hearing from you.
trivia questions:
1. What did Delilah do to Sampson's hair?

And she said, The Philistines be upon thee, Samson. And he awoke out of his sleep, and said, I will go out as at other times before, and shake myself. And he wist not that the LORD was departed from him. And she made him sleep upon her knees; and she called for a man, and she caused him to shave off the seven locks of his head; and she began to afflict him, and his strength went from him. And when Delilah saw that he had told her all his heart, she sent and called for the lords of the Philistines, saying, Come up this once, for he hath shewed me all his heart. Then the lords of the Philistines came up unto her, and brought money in their hand. That he told her all his heart, and said unto her, There hath not come a razor upon mine head; for I have been a Nazarite unto God from my mother's womb: if I be shaven, then my strength will go from me, and I shall become weak, and be like any other man. And it came to pass, when she pressed him daily with her words, and urged him, so that his soul was vexed unto death; And she said unto him, How canst thou say, I love thee, when thine heart is not with me? thou hast mocked me these three times, and hast not told me wherein thy great strength lieth. And she fastened it with the pin, and said unto him, The Philistines be upon thee, Samson. And he awaked out of his sleep, and went away with the pin of the beam, and with the web. And Delilah said unto Samson, Hitherto thou hast mocked me, and told me lies: tell me wherewith thou mightest be bound. And he said unto her, If thou weavest the seven locks of my head with the web. Delilah therefore took new ropes, and bound him therewith, and said unto him, The Philistines be upon thee, Samson. And there were liers in wait abiding in the chamber. And he brake them from off his arms like a thread. And he said unto her, If they bind me fast with new ropes that never were occupied, then shall I be weak, and be as another man. And Delilah said unto Samson, Behold, thou hast mocked me, and told me lies: now tell me, I pray thee, wherewith thou mightest be bound. Now there were men lying in wait, abiding with her in the chamber. And she said unto him, The Philistines be upon thee, Samson. And he brake the withs, as a thread of tow is broken when it toucheth the fire. So his strength was not known. Then the lords of the Philistines brought up to her seven green withs which had not been dried, and she bound him with them. And Samson said unto her, If they bind me with seven green withs that were never dried, then shall I be weak, and be as another man. And Delilah said to Samson, Tell me, I pray thee, wherein thy great strength lieth, and wherewith thou mightest be bound to afflict thee. And the lords of the Philistines came up unto her, and said unto her, Entice him, and see wherein his great strength lieth, and by what means we may prevail against him, that we may bind him to afflict him: and we will give thee every one of us eleven hundred pieces of silver. And it came to pass afterward, that he loved a woman in the valley of Sorek, whose name was Delilah.

16th Lesson/Hear me when I call/ Psalms 4
Hello Ladies. I hope you are having a blessed day. I hope you can all forgive me for being so lack last week in getting the studies posted. We lost a dear friend last Tuesday and it was a shock to us. But I still should have gotten these done.
I don't know if any of you noticed that I edited my profile, but I want to share something with you all, before we get started with the lesson. God laid it on my heart to beging a women's ministry. The name of this ministry is ~A Heart Adorned Women's Ministry~. I got the name from a picture I seen. I believe God allowed me to see that picture. This ministry is in no way about me. I have felt led to begin to reach out to women, to pull them together. I want to reach all women, not just those in the ministry but those are who are hurting, confused, lost, scared, those whose husband's may not be their spiritual leader, those who are not married, ALL WOMEN of ALL WALKS of life. I am just going to let God lead me and guide me in this new direction.
What is it all about? How are you going to reach them?
God has begin to open up new places for women conferences. I will continue doing these bible studies, I will minister to them however I can, whenever I can, however, whenever God opens up a door, or a way. Eventually I would like to have a Team of saved, blood bought, Holy Ghost filled women working with me. There are some things I am still praying about.
Ok, now for the Lesson. It's not over a spacific woman today.
Psalms 4: 1
HEAR me when I call, O God of my righteousness: thou hast enlarged me when I was in distress; have mercy upon me, and hear my prayer.
vs 3. But know that the LORD hath set apart for him that is goldy for himself; the LORD will hear when I call unto him.
Aren't you glad to know that God has set us apart and that He will hear us when we call? I know sometimes it feels like our prayers aren't getting any higher than the ceiling. Sometimes it seems like that when we are in our midnight hour, that no one can hear us, that we're all alone. But vs 3 says the LORD will hear me when I call unto him.
Ok, so you have to admit that we women are emotional. We get agrivated when we think someone isn't listening to us. We get upset....they don't care what I have to say, they aren't listening. Why doesn't anyone listen to me? We have all been there, some of us on a daily bases....lol.
GOD is listening. GOD hears us! GOD sees us! He may not move when we want Him to, but He's an on time God! He promises that He will never leave us or forsake us. Thank the Lord for that promise. Aman!
We dont' always understand why God works things out the way He does. It's not for us to understand. But it is for us to give Him thanks! The bible says He works all things out for our good. Not how we want them, for our good!
Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for the good to those who love God, who are the called according to His purpose.
I want to be called to God's pupose, not my purpose.
Just take joy and have peace in knowing that yes, God hears you. God loves you with a love that you or I can not even begin to fathom. Take peace & comfort in that.
Remember when things get a little to hard to bare, you get a little weary, and God knows we all do, we have a hiding place in Him, where we can get strengthened back up and face another day, another battle. Because the Victory's already been won.

15th lesson/ Hannah: 1st Samuel chapters 1 & 2
Pray everyone is doing well. It's a beautiful day.
Today we are going to talk about Hannah found in 1st Samuel chapters 1 & 2.
Hannah's husband had two wives, but he loved Hannah. However, she was barren. in chapter 1 vs 10 it says. And she was in bitterness of soul, and prayed unto the Lord, and wept sore.
vs 11 says - And she vowed a vow, and said , O lord, of hosts if thou wilt indeed look on the affliction of thine handmaid,, and remember me, and not forget thine handmaid, but wilt give unto thine handmaid a man child, then I will give him unto the Lord all the days of his life and there shall no razor come upon his head.
She wept and begged God to give her a child. She spacifically asked for a boy.
vs 13 mentions that she spake in her heart.
God knows the very intent of our heart before we ever speak a word or think a thought!
While she was pouring her heart out to God, Eli seen her in vs 14 and thought she was drunk but in vs 15 Hannah answered him saying, No, my Lord, I am a woman of a sorrowful spirit, I have drunk neither wine nor strong drink, but have poured out my soul before God.
Down in vs 19 & 20, Hannah concieves and bares a son. She call his name Samuel saying because I asked him of the Lord. She didn't go with her husband on the trip he took, but stayed at home until the day Samuel was weaned.
In vs 28, Hannah says Therefore also I have lent him to the Lord; as long as he liveth he shall be lent to the Lord, and he worshipped the Lord there.
God gave Samuel to Hannah and Hannah gave Samuel back to God, so that Samuel could be God's servant. She took Samuel to Eli so that Eli could mentor him, teach him.
chapter 2 vs 1. And Hannah prayed, and said, My heart rejoiceth in the Lord, mine horn is exalted in the Lord: my mouth is enlarged over mine enemies; because I rejoice in thy salvation.
Hannah was so happy that God had given her a child and she was happy to give him back to God. She wanted God to use Samuel.
Because of Hannah turning Samuel back over to God, God blessed her with three more sons and two daughters. And the word says Samuel grew before the Lord.
I'm not going to tell you the story of Samuel, I want you to read it and find out what happens to the little boy whom is mother Hannah loved so much, she gave him back to God so that God could use him.
Hannah was barren and she was bitter. How many of us are bitter about things in our lives? Something that may have happened years ago, and we've never let go of it, so we have just become bitter? As long as we keep holding on to that thing or things, we are never going to be truly happy. We can not be set free, when we're holding on to the past. We have to let go. See, so many times we pray God take it, God take it. We have to GIVE IT TO HIM!!!!! We have to let him have it. Sometimes it's hard. Maybe we don't know how, or maybe we have held on to it so long, we're scared of what will happen when we finally let go, but to have peace, happiness, to experience true freedom in Jesus, we have to let go. People may say, it's fine, it doesn't affect my every day life or my marriage, or my family, etc. Yes it does. Because that bitterness and that anger we feel, gets taken out on other people. We tend to push the ones who loves us, away from us, scared that they too are going to hurt us, so before they can hurt us, we hurt them. Shackles.
Does this sound familiar to anyone? It's time! It's time to give it to Jesus. Hannah wept before the Lord, pouring her heart out to him. After doing this, she concieved. When we can let go of the past wether it was years ago, months ago, or days ago, we can take that next step in God. How do we give it to Him? Do as Hannah did, pour our heart and souls out to Him, tell Him we're giving it to Him, ask Him to please help us not to pick it back up. God will help us!!!!
Hannah also made a vow to God, and here's the kicker, she actually kept it! How many times have we promised God something and didn't do it? The bible says it's better to not make a vow to God (challenge: find this scripture)
When we say Lord, I'm going to witness to someone today, do we do it? Or Lord, I'm going to be kind to that person who is so rude to me, do we do it? Do we keep our vow's to God? It's important to keep our marriage vow's and even more important to keep our vow's to God.
Hannah was blessed with Samuel, and she gave him back to God. God has blessed some of us with children that we love so much. Do we love them enough to let God have them back, and use them as He sees fit. Hannah took Samuel to live with Eli. I imagine that was hard for her, that was her first baby, the one she had prayed for, for so long. But the person she wanted God to make him, was more important to her than the person she wanted him to be. Do you know what I mean? When we find out we are carrying a child, we should give them back to God, dedicate them to Him. Yes, when a child reaches the age of accountability, they have to make the decision to serve God, but what I'm saying is we should be praying for God to use them as God wants to use them, for God to have His way with their lives. Not what we want for them, but what God wants for them. We may want them to be a big doctor or lawyer, it's natural to want the best for your children, but God may want them to be a humble servant in Africa or somewhere....no, I'm not saying you can't be christian if your a doctor or lawyer....lol....I think you guy's know where I'm trying to go with this. Our plans for our children should line up with God's plans for them, and we should pray God has His will in their lives. It was important to Hannah for Samuel to be who God wanted him to be. She took him to the best mentor, teacher. When our children our young and we still have a say over the people who are in their lives....lol... because you know there will come a time, when we don't have a say anymore.....We should put people in their lives, who are Godly. Who are going to teach them about God, teach them right from wrong, we as parents do that, but grandparents, family members, friends, teachers, all need to do this as well. Sadly, we can't shileld and protect our children from everything, but we need to do our best, and we need to be careful of the people we allow in their lives...sometims you can't help who you come across, or who they come across at school, but if they are taught from the beginning, they will be aware and alert, and will know what pleases God and what doesn't. Train your child up in the way they should go.....(challenge: finish this verse and find where it's at)
Most of all we need to pray for God to have His will and His way in our childrens lives from the time they are born for the rest of their lives.
I believe Hannah was a God fearing woman. God blessed her with more children. Samuel was blessed. Read the story of Hannah and Samuel. I believe you will be blessed.
