6th daily bible studies for women/just some thoughts

Well I pray everyone was in great services yesterday.  I know we sure were.

I would like to take a poll from you guy's.  I want you to tell me you favorite woman in the bible and why.  See even though I started this bible study, I want you guy's to be involved.  I want to hear your thoughts, your comments, what the Lord is showing you in your life, I want to hear your testimonies, your questions, in a nutshell I want to hear from YOU!

Because this isn't about just one woman, it's about all of us.  We need eachother, to cry,  to laugh, to listen, to share advice. I would really appreciate your input.  If you cant'comment on the blog itself, comment me or message me on facebook.

Today, I really want to just thank God for being a woman.  I want to thank Him for using me even though I'm not worthy.  Thank Him for loving me.  I want to ask Him to help me be a better wife, mother, and woman of God.  I want to look in the mirror and ask Him where am I lacking, or coming up short?  I want to draw closer to Him.

If ya'll would, read the story of Rachel.  That's what our lesson is going to be tomorrow...give me your thoughts, what the Lord showed you, what you got out of it.  I look forward to hearing from you.

Remember that whatever you may be going through today, there's nothing to hard for God!
I appreciate the ones who have commented to me so far, the ones who have been reading, thank you...I'm not a bible scholar, this is just something I felt would be good for us women.

I love you all
Be blessed & Be encouraged ~God c an use you~

  1. Patti,Ok here is my comment. Rachel was raised amid deceit and sin, most of this was through lying and and scheming by her father. Instead of recognizing this and overcoming she let it invade her life. Instead of letting God make the decisions she took matters into her own hands on several occasions, But God does not give up on us and his will, will prevail because thru Rachel came Joseph. While the Love story of Jacob and Rachel is heart warming, the effects of sin in her life was tragic.
